Sonic Drive-In in Kansas

"Came here after reading the reviews expecting mediocrity and sad food. I was extremely disappointed. I got smoldering hot, fresh, crispy, delicious, perfectly seasoned fries. My cheeseburger was juicy and flavorful and my bun was soft and warm. I ordered extra/add jalapenos and they were crisp, flavorful, and spicy. Also ordered a cherry limeade. It was very good. 0 out of 10, you did not meet expectations. You need to lower your game, Sonic. Edit: this was satire. The food was good"

"I came here in the morning, I had a breakfast sandwich. It was tasty and the lady who served me was friendly. However, I tried coming here later in the afternoon, business was picking up. I unfortunately didn’t have time to wait for them serve me, so I ended up going to McDonald’s."

"We haven't been to sonic in a very long time because of our past experiences. We went today and it was AMAZING!!!! The food was fresh and not full of grease and all sloppy, like we had gotten in the past. The crew was clean and looked professional which is also a super nice change!!! We will definitely be back again!!!!!!"

"This place is always understaffed which leads to what looks like a very high turnover rate. I'd think it would be easier to retain people if they would hire more people to avoid the ones they have getting burned out and tired of always being at work. I say this because the staff I've encountered are always nice and id like to see them stay longer as they make your visit so much more pleasant. Also, the food at this sonic is better than a lot of other ones I've been too. They are quick, courteous and so far they have never made a mistake on my order. And that, is quite unusual for food this quick!"

"The place was fast. I think that was the quickest order I've had at a Sonic. Overall an excellent experience. I took one star away for two mistakes, one may have been an oversight on our part as the receipt agreed with what they delivered but wasn't what I ordered the other was a mistake. They actually corrected at no cost the first and I didn't bother with the second as it was minor (no ketchup on my burger). I still took a star for accuracy. Lesson, read the screen carefully. Aside from that the food was spot on and everyone in my group was filled up."

"Walked across parking lot of motel to sit at tables outside at Sonic. Ordered 2 shakes and cheddar peppers. Excellent, fast, friendly service and awesome shakes and peppers. Visited in October 2018. The young people working there were friendly and helpful. The burger and fries were standard fare for Sonic but the service was excellent. Young people in Mid Kansas are great. The inside waiting area was clean and the outside area was free of trash. Nice Sonic."
